Not only wrong but also sad... All these happened a couple of days ago during Madonna's concert in Paris, France.

A part of the top of the Stade Lelodrome fell down injyring two workers while a technician passed away... Four more people went to the hospital making the concert stop there...

Queen of pop couldn't believe the happenings and she did not stop saying sorry to the family of the unlucky technician...

Super star of pop Mariah Carey felt the need to say sorry to everyone via her twitter profile for her performance during Michael Jackson's funeral. The singer couldn't hold back her tears obviously moved and touched by the special situation.

"I really feel sorry and I need to apologise to everyone for my bad performance that day but I was really sad and I couldn't stop crying especially when I saw him..." said the diva of ballads... Plus she added "We will never say good-bye to him as he'll always be the king of pop music!"

Michael Jackson Dies After Cardiac Arrest

Michael Jackson, the sensationally gifted child star who rose to become the "King of Pop" and the biggest celebrity in the world, died Thursday, a person with knowledge of the situation told The Associated Press...

The person said Jackson died in a Los Angeles hospital. The person was not authorized to speak publicly and requested anonymity.

The circumstances of his death were not immediately clear. Jackson was not breathing when Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a call at his Los Angeles home about 12:30 p.m., Capt. Steve Ruda told the Los Angeles Times. The paramedics performed CPR and took him to UCLA Medical Center, Ruda told the newspaper.

Jackson's death brought a tragic end to a long, bizarre, sometimes farcical decline from his peak in the 1980s, when he was popular music's premier all-around performer, a uniter of black and white music who shattered the race barrier on MTV, dominated the charts and dazzled even more on stage.

His 1982 album "Thriller" — which included the blockbuster hits "Beat It," ''Billie Jean" and "Thriller" — remains the biggest-selling album of all time, with more than 26 million copies.

He was perhaps the most exciting performer of his generation, known for his feverish, crotch-grabbing dance moves and his high-pitched voice punctuated with squeals and titters. His single sequined glove, tight, military-style jacket and aviator sunglasses were trademarks second only to his ever-changing, surgically altered appearance.

The song is written by Phoebus, who is the composer of all her songs since 1998 and it's called "Iparhi zoi" (=There is life). "Iparhi zoi" is dedicated to a Greek charity company named "To hamogelo tou pediou" (= The kid's smile). This is a brand new pop song by D.V. who released her last album during 2007...

People in Greece talk for a great comeback and Despina has already planned a special summer tour all around Greece starting from Thessaloniki. With her, during her concerts will be also famous Greek singer Stelios Maksimos, the bands "Goin' Through" and "Nevma" and the Greek raper Thirio...

That's a gala!

The students of the foreign languages' school "Start Smart" by Eleni Petropoulou wanted to welcome summer and celebrate the end of this year's school period by presenting on their own way 7 of the 42 songs of this year's Eurovision Song Contest!

The show's name was "Smart Eurovision" and took place on June 13th 2009 in Athens, inside the Close Gym of Drosoupoli (Athens). Special guest of the festival was Mando, who had represented Greece at the Eurovision 2003!

The show had also presenters who presented the songs in English and French!

It is worth to watch the videos because the kids had done a GREAT job...

Male fans of the amazingly beautiful Armenian singer stop flerting her!!!

Sirusho, the No1 Armenian singer, got married her beloved Levon Kocharian on June 6th 2009. Levon, who is the son of Robert Kocharian - the president of Armenia- and Sirusho had been in relationship for about 3 years.

No matter how young the singer still is (just 22 years old) she said she had no problem to get married as she is so in love with Levon.

The marriage got place in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia and it was the medias main theme for several days!

Jóhanna Guðrún Jónsdóttir, simply known as Yohanna, has released her debut album "Butterflies and Evlis" during 2008 in her native country Iceland. Though the album is right now famous in Europe basicly due to the 2nd place which Yohanna managed to win at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009.

The winner of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, Alexander Rybak, released his debut album under the title "Fairytales". The album contains 9+2 (bonus) songs between them of course major hit "Fairytale" which won the Eurovision Song Contest 2009. The album is released by EMI Universal.

"Fairytales" has a kind of complicated story on its release date! The album has been released on May 29 2009 in Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Norway, Switzerland, Turkmenistan and Ukraine, on June 2 2009 in Greece and Cyprus, on June 3 in Sweden, on June 4 in Estonia and it's planned to be released on June 15 in the Uk!

Kanye West was invited a couple of days ago in Paris in order to watch a catwalk show. At the end of the show he admited that the gowns were very beautiful but he'd like to see more furs!

This line made the famous American singer P!nk get angry and tell during an interview that Kanye is disgusting and stupid and that he should give his own skin and make furs!!

I guess it's crystal clear that the pop/rock singer is so against the furs!

On April 10, 2009, Helena Paparizou, the No1 singer of Greece, has released the single "Tha 'me Allios" (= I'll be different), a new song, not included on her most recent album. It was composed by DonK with lyrics by Eleana Vrahali.
Some days ago the video of the song has officialy been released as well...

The certain song is already a hit in Greece and Cyprus and will probably be included in Paparizou's new album... "Tha 'me allios" is also used as soundtrack of the new commercial of the Fanta Company of fruit-flavored fizzy juices in Greece!

Eurovision stars in Greece!

The Eurovision Song Contest has a great success in Greece the last years. That is why a Greek company which organizes a beauty contest (it's not yet announced which one) invited four of the 2009 Eurovision singers as guest stars to perform on stage during the contest...

These four stars are : Alexander Rybak from Norway, who also won the contest, Hadise from Turkey who ended 4th and has a great success due to her entry "Dum Tek Tek", AySel and Arash who came 3rd for Azerbaijan and Svetlana Loboda who represented Ukraine with the song "Be my Valentine"...

These are still rumors so we have to wait and see if those 4 singers are actually going to visit Greece and perform during the beauty contest...

Saturday May 16th 2009 : the day of the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2009...

The even took place inside Olympic Indoor Arena and hosts were Alsou and Ivan Urgant who were excellent presenters! The show opened with Terem Quartet and Cirque du Soleil and then Dima Bilan who performed "Believe" which won the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 and brought the contest in Russia.

First country to perform was Lithuania...

01. Lithuania

Artist : Sasha Son
Sasha Son opened the big final with his ballad "Love". Sasha was playing the piano and performing his entry joined by three backing vocalists. The performance is just like the one from the Semi Final and the same fire came out from his hand at the end of the song! Lithuania ended 23rd collecting 23 points!

02. Israel
Song : There must be another way
Artist : Noa & Mira Awad
Both singers were seemed to be more confident than in the Semi Final night. They have both changed their hairstyle and the performance was strong enough! Israel ended 16th with 53 points...

03. France
Song : Et s'il fallait le faire
Artist : Patricia Kaas
The stadium couldn't stop screaming for Patricia who was on stage ready to perform her entry. "Et s'il fallait le faire" is one of the bookmarks' favourite to win the contest and Patricia is doing a great stage performance which moves everyone... Finally, the song voted by 107 points which gave to the country just the 8th place...

04. Sweden

Artist : Malena Ernman
It's one of the fans' favourite songs and that's why everyone claps. Malena was better in the Semi Final as far as the vocal part but still she was amazing on stage... Though the song placed 21st collecting just 33 points...

05. Croatia
Song : Lijepa Tena
Artist : Igor Cukrov ft. Andrea
Singer Igor is on stage joined by the female dancers who also do the backing vocals. Air machine is used during all the song which gives another option to the entry... Andrea is on stage by the middle of the song and by the time she starts singing makes everyone pay attention to her...18th place and 45 points for Croatia...

06. Portugal
Song : Todas as ruas de amor
Artist : Flor-de-Lis
The band is really happy being in the Final and the cute song makes the stage and the atmosphere even more beautiful. The amazing graphics via the LED screens give another joy to the contest and people seem to enjoy the entry. Flor-de-Lis are really good both in singing and in performing...They ended with 57 points which gave them the 15th place.

07. Iceland
Song : Is it true?
Artist : Jóhanna Guðrún Jónsdóttir
The big surprise of the contest! Many people compared the "story" of Jóhanna to Shiri Maimon's story (Israel 2005) : A very beautiful ballad with a very beautiful singer but noone could imagine the high place which could reach at the end! Jóhanna made an excellent performance on stage, dressed just like in the semi final night, in blue. Jóhanna was joined by her backing vocals which did their best to make Iceland proud - and I think they did! 2nd place for Iceland with 218 points!!

08. Greece
Song : This is our night
Artist : Sakis Rouvas
Alongside Norway, Greece was for one more year the bookmarkers' favorite to win the contest. With Sakis Rouvas as the lead singers many Greeks believed that the 2nd victory could come. Things changed after Sakis' performance in the Final as everyone admited that he was not good enough for a victory... Dressed in white and joined by Alex Panayi as backing singer and 4 dancers/singers Sakis danced a lot and performed "This is our night". It was crystal clear that he was anxious something which helped for the 120 points and the (dissapointing) 7th place...

09. Armenia
Song : Nor Bar [Jan-Jan]
Artist : Inga & Anush Arshakyan
The two sisters, who managed to make many friends in Moscow due to their sweetness, did it very well in the contest. Much better than the Semi Final night, Inga & Anush performed the traditional Armenian song and finished 10th with 92 points making the Armenians all around the world proud!

10. Russia
Song : Mamo
Artist : Anastasiya Prihodko
It's time for the host country to be on stage and people can't stop clapping their hands. Anastasiya is on stage dressed in white using the sad face which gives the perfect note to the song. A huge screen behind her shows her face which is getting older and older minute by minute... It's a good song in Russian and Ukrainian with traditional Russian music sample. 11th place and 91 points...

11. Azerbaijan
Song : Always
Artist : AySel ft. Arash
The Azeri people should be proud of accepting "using" Arash in their entry, as his poplularity helped the country to be on top3! Both AySel and Arash were excellent on stage and showed that they worked really hard for it. The song is one of the favorites of all and it's going to be a huge summer hit around Europe! Azerbaijan ended 3rd having collected 207 points...

12. Bosnia&Herzegovina
Song : Bistra Voda
Artist : "Bistra Voda" from Bosnia&Herzegovina had many fans as it was the one and only balkan ballad in the contest. Regina didn't did something different than the Semi Final's performance and they ended 9th with 106 points no matter everyone believed that the song could reach the top3...

13. Moldova
Song : Hora din Moldova
Artist : Nelly Ciobanu
An excellent ethnic song by Moldova which managed to make everyone pay attention to it! Nelly was amazing on stage both in singing and in performing the song "Hora din Moldova". The 14th place with 68 points are really few for it...

14. Malta
Song : What if we?
Artist : Chiara
It's the biggest surprise ever : Chiara, the amazing woman from Malta, with the sweet heart and the crystal voice who has earned the 3rd and the 2nd place in previews contests now ends 22nd with 31 points!! No matter her magical voice, Chiara was very anxious on stage and that costs her the low position...

15. Estonia
Song : Raendajad
Artist : Urban Symphony
A very beautiful entry by Estonia who finally sent a good song after many years of bad entries! Urban Symphony were on stage dressed in black and playing the violin and the celo while Sandra Nurmsalu was singing the song in estonian... The country ended 6th with 129 points!

16. Denmark
Song : Believe Again
Artist : Brinck Niels
One of the best ballads in the contest ever managed to collect 74 points and the 13th place which is really low... Brinck was amazing on stage performing "Believe again" which has composed the famous Irish singer Ronan Keating! For sure it deserved many more points and of course a higher place...

17. Germany
Song : Miss Kiss Kiss Bang
Artist : Alex Swings Oscar Sings
The song earned many more fans after its stage performance! Oscar managed to turn the Russian stage to a club of Las Vegas by his performance and everyone had fan due to the good rhythm of the song. As a hightlight, finally on stage the very famous burlesque artist, model and actress Dita Von Teese did the sexy dance after turning to half naked! Germany ended 20th with 35 points...

18. Turkey
Song : Dum Tek Tek
Artist : Hadise
She was better than the Semi Final for sure, but still Hadise was not perfect at all. Though the song is very catchy and it's going to be a huge hit. Hadise ended 4th with 177 points...

19. Albania
Song : Carry me in your dreams
Artist : Kejsi Tola
A very good copy of "Secret Combination"'s performace (Greece 2008) Kejsi at least was doing something and not standing like a statue as she was in the Albanian national final! She was very good in the singing part and by the dancing she showed that she worked hard! With the long blond hair and the cute pink dress Kejsi reminds of the Barbie doll!! The song came 17th with 48 points...

20. Norway
Song : Fairytale
Artist : Alexander Rybak
He's the winner of the contest making his country Norway winner for the 3rd time in the history of the contest. To be honest Alexander was so much sure for his victory something which made him behave badly in Moscow... No matter that, the song was good and managed to collect 387 points (!!!!) and be the winner! It is the highest score for a winner in the contest and it had 169 points difference from Iceland who came 2nd!!!!

21. Ukraine
Song : Be my Valentine
Artist : Svetlana Loboda
The sexiest singer of the contest ever is on stage performing the cathy song "Be my Valentine"! Sexy dress, hot moves, smokes, drums, Ukrainian flags and three male dancers dressed as ancient Greek soldiers were on stage to complete the Ukrainian entry for the 2009 contest which finally got 76 points and the very low 12th place...

22. Romania
Song : The Balkan Girls
Artist : Elena Gherorge
The Balkan girls they like to party like nobody and that was obvious by the 6 girls of the Romanian delegation who did their best to make Romania proud! The very beautiful singer, Elena, sang the song very well but it finally ended 19th with 40 points...

23. United Kingdom
Song : It's my time
Artist : Jade Ewen
Jade is on stage making everyone watch her by her amazing voice... It could easily win but it finally ended 5th with 173 points. Very good score for the Uk which is scoring low in the last 5 years... The rumors came true and Sir Andrew Lloyed Webber, who composed the song, was on stage playing the piano... Smokes and violin players helped the song to be even more perfect on stage...

24. Finland
Song : Lose control
Artist : Waldo's people
Finland is doing very well in the contest after Lordi's victory back in 2006 and every year is in the final, no matter that it is not scoring high there!! A very good pop/dance song by Waldo's people, not in hard rock style after 2006, which ended 25th and last with 22 points!

25. Spain
Song : La noche es para mi
Artist : Soraya Arnelas
"La noche es para mi" is the favorite song of all which ended 2nd from the last (24th with 23 points). Soraya was good on stage but the whole performance and the song couldn't make anyone vote for it... Though the song could turn a hit in the clubs around Eurovision and Latin America...

After a strong scoreboard with many surprise in the voting part, Norway wins the contest having collected 387 points!!!! Last year's winner Dima Bilan and the 1st Eurovision winner ever, Lys Assia from Switzerland are on stage to give the trophy to Alexander Rybak who can't hide his joy!

Nowadays, she's in the USA enjoying her life and her new album which is about to be released. Already her first english song "Alive" is available on iTunes driving everyone crazy!!!

As she is experienced with the contest, Annet gave an interview to me telling some things about the Eurovision Song Contest, both Greek and Cypriot 2009 entries and of course about her...

01. First of all Annet i would like to thank you for accepting this interview...
Annet = No problem Krikor... I should thank you for asking me.

02. Let's start with some words about yourself
Annet = Well, i basically grew up writing and singing since i was a child, and did alot of talent pagents while i was in school that i won, and eventually found myself recording my own songs at 15 years old. Within a few years after winning a scholarship for songwriting from BMG, I studied music and go asked to tour with Britney and wound up writing the hit song "Everytime". When i was in La working as a songwriter and singing with Cyndi Lauper and Taylor Dayne, I was told about the Fame Story Auditons and wound up moving to Athens and stayed for almost 4 years. My fame via Fame Story and support and love from my Cypriot fans led me to compete to represent Cyprus Eurovision, which was one of my biggest honors!
(you can tell us some chilhood memories, first steps on singing...)

03. In Greece people know you basicly from the Fame Story 3. What memories do you have from there?
Annet = I remember feeling like I needed to just focus on being myself. i could see that some people were trying to provoke or impress, but i didnt want to be known as "that" girl. I wanted me to like me or hate me because that was their genuine opinion. I tried to tune out as much of the negativity I sensed from the other contestants by doing yoga, which made me look even weirder i think!, and focused on staying true to myself :0)

04. For what reasons did you left the academy?
Annet = I didnt have a choice. I was told that I had 20 min to leave OR sign a contract for about 7-9 years for management and contract, and I always wanted to come back home and have a career in the US, so committing to something for that many years sort of scared me.

05. How came the co-working with Britney Spears and her song "Everytime" which you composed?
Annet = After the Dream Within a Dream tour in which i sang backgrounds for her, we became friends and bonded over breaking up with our boyfriends.
So we sat down in her house and starting writing. It was a very cathartic moment to share with another girl who has gone through something similar.

06. Who asked you to sing "Why angles cry?" and take part in the Cypriot National Final for the Eurovision 2006?
Annet = The songwriter of Why Angels Cry, Petros Giannakis, asked me to compete within Cyprus, and i was lucky enough to win and go!

07. Can you tell us which was your first reaction after listening to the song?
Annet = I thought it was beautiful and meaningful.

08. Were you sure that the Cypriot audience would choose you and your song as the winning song of that night?
Annet = No. You can NEVER be too confident or too sure. I was just happy to be there!

09. Share with us your first thoughts after knowing that "Why angels cry?" is the Cypriot entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006...
Annet = I was crying from the excitment and i felt overwhelmed to be a Greek and not a Cypriot have to represent them with honor and pride. Its one of the most humbling moments of my life and I'm very grateful to have been chosen.

10. Can you also share with us your memories from Athens and Eurovision 2006?
Annet = Well, one thing i will not forget is being afraid of Lordi. They looked scary to me! One of the girls who sang with me kept trying to get me to take a picture with them and I didnt have the guts to, so i think I got close enough for her to snap one quickly! haha! I know...I was being a baby! Also, the moment I stepped foot on that stage and saw all those people, I wanted to cry. It was so emotional. And Im proud that i wore that yellow dress. It symbolized the struggles of the Cypriot people and I finally felt like I could represent them with honor after taking the time to know more about them, their history and their struggles.

11. Do you feel like having learned things in general for your life from the Eurovision?
Annet = I dont think you can walk away from that experience without having learned something. I learned that doing your best and having honor and pride in what you do is the most important thing of all.

12. How do you comment on your appearance in the semi final?
Annet = I like that i was simple and classy and I also liked that i wore yellow. Maybe I am not Cypriot, but I felt like I carried all of Cyprus with me in that song and was honored to wear that color!

13. Why, do you think, that the song did not make it to the final?
Annet = I was told a week before that I wouldn't make it to the final, btw. This is not something I ever told anyone. I know there was alot of political stuff involved and I also dont think its a coincidence that my song was NOT played in Greece.

14. Have you attend the final of the Eurovision?
Annet = No, i was in the recording studio :0)

15. Do you like Lordi's song which finally won the contest? Which other 2006 entries do you like?
Annet = I think Lordi had a great performance and a great stage show, and a good song. As for the other songs, i think some were great and others were not. But from what i see, its not about the song as much as it is about the performance and the elements of the showmanship. I did the best i could with a ballad about children dying and angels crying. it was a respectful sweet solemn song and I couldn't have performed it any other way without being disrespectful.

16. Is Annet generally a fan of the Eurovision Song Contest? Is there any song from the history of the contest which you like most?
Annet = I am a fan! ofcourse! And I dont want to be biased, but i LOVED My #1 by Elena Paparizzou because i think she and the whole concept was brilliant.

17. What did you do after the Eurovision?
Annet = I left Greece a year ago and I just released my first worldwide single with an American label! I'm very excited. In the coming weeks it will be going to radio internationally and so is the video!

18. Tell us about your brand new song "Alive" which is already loved by the fans...
Annet = Its sold thousands already and I am SO grateful for everyones support!!!! I had been in a bad relationship for a while and this song was written in Vancouver, Canada, during the time I was building up my strength to leave him. I didnt leave the relationship til a year later and the situation became much worse, and sadly, ended violently. The video touches on this subject as well, and Im hoping to send a message to girls everywhere that you shouldnt stay in a relationship with anyone who treats you badly EVER. So that video will premiere soon and I'm very proud to take a stand on that subject. A year ago i was crying and found myself in despair, and now I'm a new woman who has turned my life around. I feel very grateful for having music as my outlet and using that as my therapy and I hope this song does that for others as well.

19. Would you take part again at the Eurovision Song Contest?
Annet = Ofcourse i would!

20. What do you think about the Greek and the Cypriot entries for this year?
Annet = Well, I think Sakis is perfect for this contest, and he has proven himself to be a winner many times! As for Christina, i think she looks like an angel and its a very good song. My only concern is that Eurovision winners are usually more extroverted and explosive. And I think I learned this first hand! :0)

21. If you would responsible to choose someone to represent Greece at the contest, who would you suggest?
Annet = If it was up to me, I would hold a contest for NEW people. People who have NEVER gone before. People who are unknown talent and who would be grateful to be up there. I think that this shows unity and support towards the young talent within a country.

Eurovision 2009 : The 2nd Semi Final

The 2009 Eurovision's 2nd Semi Final took place yesterday, May 14th 2009 inside the Olimpiyskiy Arena. Hosts, once more, were Natalia Vodianova and Andrey Malahov.

The director's job was by far better in the 2nd Semi Final, comparing to the 1st one, and the stage seemed more amazing!

19 countries took part in the 2nd Semi Final. The show started with the Croatian entry... The last country to perform was The Netherlands...

Big surprise, as it was turned out, was Cyprus which did an excellent performane on stage but finally did not make it to the final. Also, Serbia, for the 1st time will not be in the Final of the contest. Lithuania probably was the "saved from the juries" country and finally made it to the final. The bookmarks' favourites Greece, Norway, Azerbaijan, Estonia and Ukraine passed to the Final as well. The pop song of Albania managed to impress the viewers and pass to the final, like the ethnic entry of Moldova did! We have also two beautiful ballads qualifying : Croatia and Denmark...

Eurovision 2009 : The 1st Semi Final

Yesterday, May 12th 2009, took place in Moscow (Russia) inside the Olimpiyskiy Arena the first of the two Semi Finals of the Eurovision Song Contest 2009.

The contest opened with theTolmachevy twins who won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2009! Hosts of the show were famous top model Natalia Vodianova and Russian tv presenter Andrey Malahov. Generally, people admited being dissapointed by the whole show and especially by the director.

The stage finally did not work that well for the songs as it is huge and sometimes singers on stage do not appear on tv! 18 countries from Europe performed today in order to qualify for the Grand Final. Only 10 of them managed to so and these countries are :

Portugal
Malta
Finland
Bosnia & Herzegovina
Romania
Armenia
Iceland

The other 8 countries which did not make it to the final are :

Montenegro
Czech Republic

As a surprise, Switzerland did not make it to the final, while countries like Portugal and Finland were not that sure to be on the final. Bookmarks' favorite for sure was Turkey, no matter the bad performance it did. Also Bosnia&Herzegovina, Armenia and Malta were the sure countries to make it to the final. Beautiful surprise is the entry of Romania. The very beautiful and joyful song by gorgeous Elena Gheorghe convinced people to vote for her and now she can enjoy the Final as well! It's worth to mention that the famous Russian girl band t.A.T.u. did the interval act for the Semi Final 1... / Time machine : t.A.T.u. represented Russia back in 2003 placing 3rd...

Eurovision 2009 Corner : The welcome party!

Sunday May 10th 2009 : the day for the official opening ceremony for the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest!

All the artists of this year's Eurovision gathered together to celebrate the opening of the Contest. A very glamorous gala, organised by Channel One Russia, took place in the Eurodom! Hosts of the beautiful evening were Alsou and Andre Malakov. Alsou will present the Grand Final alongside Ivan Urgant while Andre Malakov is the presenter of the two Semi Finals with the famous Russian model Natalia Vodyanova.

Many Eurovision stars of the past were there to perform and have fun :

. Dana International - Israel's entry on 1998 (winner) and composer of the Israeli entry on 2008

Eurovision 2009 Corner : Part 5

Almost all the countries from the two semi finals have completed the second round of their rehearsals. Lithuania, Moldova, Albania, Ukraine, Estonia and Netherlands which take part in the 2nd Semi Final haven't done their 2nd rehearsal yet... The rehearsals for the Semis ended today after the Greek 2nd rehearsal. Lithuania will be the first country to rehease tomorrow and Moldova, Albania, Ukraine, Estonia and Netherlands will follow.

Today, it's also the rehearsal day of France, Russia, Germany, UK and Spain which will take place at the Final...

Artist : Patricia Kaas
Patricia is on stage to rehearse for the 1st time. The stage is all in red making a great romantic and erotic atmosphaire. Parts of the lyrics of the song are being shown from the LED screens. In the middle of the screens, at the back, there is a huge silver "K", obviously it's the first letter from the singer's last name, Kaas. Patricia is wearing a simple black outfit. The atmosphaire inside the arena is amazing as they all cheer for Kaas and her magnificent performace. No reason to talk about the vocal part : the woman is a myth!

10. Russia

Artist : Anastasiya Prihodko
It's the time for the host country, Russia, to make its debut rehearsal. Singer Anastasiya is on stage. Green, pal pink and white lights are decorating the beautiful stage of Eurovision Song Contest 2009. The singer is simply dressed with black top and trousers as the 1st rehearsal is only for the vocal part! Anastasiya is very good on singing as she has very clear voice. She is joined by 5 singers as backing vocalists who also are very good. Behind the singer, who is not moving, there is a huge portrait of herself in black backround. Her face on the portrait is sad and pained as the song talks about the difficult part of loving someone.

Song : Miss Kiss Kiss Bang
Artist : Oscar Loya
The stage becomes a small club of Las Vegas for the German entry "Miss Kiss Kiss Bang" and Oscar Loya gives a special performance for it! Dressed in white costume and black trousers, Oscar can both sing and dance very well and everyone is impressed by his performance. On stage with him is the composer of the song, Alex Kristensen. Alex also has 3 female dancers dancing around him. It's not bad at all...

23. United Kingdom
Song : It's my time
Artist : Jade Ewen
Jade Ewen is on stage to make her rehearsal. She is wearing a pair of jeans and a grey/silver shining top. Her voice is magnificent and the whole performance is really good. There is a white piano on stage... Maybe the rumors that Andrew Lloyd Webber would be on stage with her come true! Jade is on the top of some stairs from where she starts singing her entry and she ends on the other side of the stage. With her there are 4 male musicians playing violin... Two of them dressed in white costumes and the other two in black! Rumors say that Jade's gown will be in white colour. Seems like both juries and viewrs will vote for her...

25. Spain
Song : La noche es para mi
Artist : Soraya Arnelas
Soraya is about to do her first rehearsal in Moscow on "La noche es para mi". The intro of the song has been changed a bit... Similar to the Uk entry, Soraya and her dancers are siting in some stairs before the dancing part. Soraya wears a beautiful, hot dress but it's not sure if it's gonna be her final one. She's good in both singing and dancing. The performance is very impressive. The stage is bathed basicly in red colour! Highlight : The final note of Soraya as the end of the song!!! Very good performance!

Eurovision 2009 : The Final Hosts announced

Milla Jovovich will not be the host of the Grand Final's evening as it was said some weeks ago.

The presenters of the Eurovision 2009 - Final will be Alsou and Ivan Urgant. The beautiful and famous Russian singer Alsou was asked firstly to host the two Semi Finals but she will finally be on stage during the Final.

The two Semi Finals will be finally presented by the famous model Natalia Vodyanova and the tv presenter Andrey Malakhov.

Ani Lorak's new album!

After "Shady Lady" with which the Ukrainian super star Ani Lorak represented Ukraine at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest placing 2nd on the Final, it's time for her 11th studio album called "Solnce".

The album is produced by the Greek composer/music producer Dimitris Kontopoulos. Dimitris had also produced "Shady Lady" so since then the two musicians are really good friends! Ani Lorak is going to release the album someday on May of 2009 but she is already enjoying the success of the song "Solnce" which has been released since December of 2008!

The album also includes her 2008 great heat "Shady Lady", its Russian version (С неба в небо) and also the English version of "Solnce" (I'm Alive)...

"Solnce" is a very beautiful ballad, cover of the Greek song "Ki an tora den thimase" sang by Irini Merkouri and composed by Dimitris Kontopoulos.

Today, Friday 8 May 2009, "Krik! Music Corner" proposes a brand new single : Paparazzi by Lady Gaga!

The song is included in the debut album of the singer "The Fame" and it's about to release on May 12 2009 as an official singe.

The song is written by Rob Fusari, who also produced the whole album, and the own singer Lady Gaga! The song was written by Gaga to portray her struggles and her love for fame. An uptempo dance song, the lyrics of "Paparazzi" depicts the idea of a stalker following somebody to grab attention and fame.

"Paparazzi" has been critically appreciated for its fun-filled, club-friendly nature and is deemed the most memorable and telling song from the album. The song has alredy charted in the United Kingdom. Gaga performed the song in a number of live appearances including her first headlining Fame Ball tour where she performed it as the opening number of the show, wearing a geometric pattern shaped black dress.

Eurovision 2009 Corner : Part 4

It's the 4th day of the rehearsals in Moscow. The last 10 countries of the 2nd Semi Final are going to make their rehearsals today starting with Slovenia, which will perform on number 10 during the 2nd Semi Final evening...

10. Slovenia
Song : Love Symphony
Artists : Quartissimo ft. Martina Majerle
One of the best backrounds it is set for the Slovenian performance : all stage is covers by black and red colours while notes and violin strings are being shown from the LED screens. The 4 musicians are standing inside golden mirrors around the central one behind of which is hiding the main singer, Martina. The mirrors are planned to be covered by paper during the Semi Final's night but today they were not. Two things changes : Martina starts singing at the 1 minute of the song (at the studio version she starts singing later than the first minute) and the team is not yet sure if the song is going to be sang in English or in Slovenian! Musicians, after their appearance on the stage, are moving around the singer. Martina's voice is clear and totally ok but she doesn't move at all, something which is necessary in such a strong song... Generally it's a great and strong performance...

11. Hungary
Song : Dance with me
Artist : Adok Zoli
Adok is on stage promising for a great dance show as his original occupation is dancer! He needs more work on singing the song "Dance with me" but his movements are great. The backround is in dark colours and there are some white squares and different other shapes. On the ring of the stage there is the title of his entry. Adok is joined on stage by three female dancers and two very good singers as backing vocalists...

12. Azerbaijan
Song : Always
Artist : AySel ft. Arash
Azerbaijan is on stage for its 1st rehearsal. Worldwide famous singer from Iran Arash is one of the singers of the entry. With him on stage is AySel, the young singer who was supposed at first to represent the country on her own! The stage is full of flames and drums via the LED screens. The two singers are on a platform which has many different heights so the two singers can move on them and dance. At the beginning of the song moving their hands to the rhythm of the song and touching each other's hand just before the first chorus. A dancer who is dancing and waving a pink piece of fabric opens the entry while the two singers are singing the first notes... AySel's style on stage reminds a lot of Sirusho who last year represented Armenia! Arash is wearing a costume and a pair of jeans. Three dancers are dancing around the two singers who also do some movements based on the rhythm of "Always"! A male singer is at the back doing the backing singer. Arash and AySel both need some more pratice on the vocal part but generally the whole performance is ok...

13. Greece
Song : This is our night
Artist : Sakis Rouvas
Sakis Rouvas is on stage for his first rehearsal. The stage is colourful and neon lights are all over it. In the middle of the stage's ring is written the title of the song with pink neon lights. Sakis and his 4 dancers are walking on a big catwalk platform. A bit before the refrain Sakis is on his own on the platform and at the refrain he is jumbing high and then getting off the platform dancing with his dancers on the stage. Alex Panayi is the backing vocalists who is doing a great job. The choreography is good but Sakis needs more practice on singing. He may be win the contest...

14. Lithuania
Song : Love
Artist : Sasha Son
Sasha is sitting in a piano in the beggining of the song and has three backing vocalist. Sasha is wearing jeans, a whitle t-shirt and a hat which refers to and r'n'b style, though it's not sure what he is going to wear during the Semi Final's evening. Sasha sang in english but neither the language is yet sure, as he may sing the song "Love" in Lithuanian or even Russian. The stage is covered by dark and light blue lights and the backround shows a piano. The whole performance is based on the beautiful melody of the song...

15. Moldova
Song : Hora din Moldova
Artist : Nelly Ciobanu
Nelly Ciobanu is on stage joined by one male singer as backing vocalists and other four male dancers! The stage is all in red colours. The LED screens show some ethnic shapes which reminds the backround of Georgia's entry back at the Eurovision 2007... Nelly is good at the vocal part and the whole performance on stage is very joyful...

16. Albania
Song : Carry me in your dreams
Artist : Kejsi Tola
Much more better than the Albanian National Final, Kejsi Tola is on stage singing her song in english. The stage is colourful but basicly red colour is used more. Kejsi is doing her best to dance during the song (her choreographer is Juliano who also danced with Kalomira last year) and as fas as the vocal part she is very good.

17. Ukraine
Song : Be my Valentine
Artist : Svetlana Loboda
Svetlana is on stage to rehearse her song! It's probably the sexiest moment of this year's contest! There are three metalic wheels on stage, also famous as the "Hell Machine", in which Svetlana is dancing using sexy movements. As fas as the vocal part, Svetland needs a lot of work because she seems to be tired from the dancing. With her there are three half-naked dancers and two female backing vocalists. The stage is full of blue and red lights. Highlight : on the ring of the stage there is Svetlana's photo!! If she finally sing well, she may have many chances to be on top5.

18. Estonia
Song : Raendajad
Artist : Urban Symphony
The stage is all in dark blue and falling stars are being shown via the LED screens. The band's main singer is on her own on stage at the beggining. The rest members are being shown behind of the big screens during the first chorus. There is also smoke on the stage which suits perfectly with the song. The girls are absolutely great as fas as the vocal part. They are not moving that much but this ain't seem to be a problem as the atmosphaire of the song does not need many movements. It is worth to mention that the Estonian entry is high at the bets...

De Toppers are on stage wearing black costumes with silver details which make them "shine"! They are also have lights on their hands just like Alenka Gotar (Slovenian entry at the ESC 2007). With them they have three female singers as backing vocalists who are wearing white dresses. The stage is all in blue lightings at the beggining but then there are many colourful lights around it! The three female backing vocalists hold some dj descks pretending to play music and the three members of the band are waving their hands on the rhythm of the song during the chorus!

The Netherlands were the last country to rehearse today...

It's the 3rd day of the rehearsals for the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 and it's time for the first 9 countries of the 2nd Semi Final to rehearse. Rehearsals start with the Croatian delegation...

01. Croatia
Song : Lijepa Tena
Artist : Igor Cukrov & Andrea Susnjara
A very atmospheric backround covers the Croatian performance. The screes show a couple dancing tango, some falling stars and whitle big flowers in a blue sky and Igor Cukrov is on stage joined by Andrea who also sings the song with him and other four backing singers. Igor and Andrea were absolutely great on the vocal part and generally people loved the whole performance. It is believed that Croatia can pass to the Grand Final...

02. Ireland
Song : Et cetera
Artist : Sinead Mulvey ft. Black Daisy
Irish entry is on stage to rehearse for the first time. Sinead Mulvey is joined by the the memebers of Black Daisy. The whole stage is covered by gold colour and yellow and white lights and the screens show thunders! Many fireworks are used as well. Highlight : the ring above the stage show running letters shaping the title of the song sometimes... As fas as the vocal part they are ok but they still need to work harder...

03. Latvia
Song : Probka
Artist : Intars Busulis
Intars is on stage joined by two female singers as backing vocalists, dressed in white dresses and three other musicians. He is wearing a costume, a colourful shirt, a black pair of pants, red shoes and a red tie! The whole stage performance is based on his dancing abilities and his playing with the girls! The backround shows some labels which guide to different cities of Europe.

04. Serbia
Song : Cipela
Artist : Marko Kon & Milan Nikolić
It's a very interesting entry by Serbia who is not sending a classical balkan ballad! Marko Kon and Milan Nikolić are on stage accompanied by three other bald male pantomimes who dance around a beautiful girl. Marko sang with his rough-edged voice and Milan played the accordeon. The LED screens show an accordeon and some early computer games and the lighting is basicly green. Generally both the song and the performance are funny and very entertaining. Serbia will probably be in the Final...

05. Poland
Song : I don't wanna leave
Artist : Lidia Kopania
Lidia is on stage to perform her power ballad "I don't wanna leave". With her on stage there are three backing vocalists and two dancers. The dancers (one boy and one girl) are dancing ballet around the stage and the own singer while the backing vocalists are not moving at all and just standing at the back. The stage's colour is blue, like in most entries...
Highlight : The white and red ribbons which the two dancers use which reminds of the Polish flag...

06. Norway
Song : Fairytale
Artist : Alexander Rybak
This is the bigger favourite to win the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest! Alexander is on stage with his violin dressed up just like at the Norwegian National Final. There are also two female backing vocalists dressed in pink and red gowns and also there are three male Frikar dancers, all dressed in black. The backround on the screens is totally based on the title of the song so they are fairytales being shown... There are also some falling stars and at the end some fireworks!

07. Cyprus
Song : Firefly
Artist : Christina Metaxa
Christina is on stage with three backing vocalists two men and a female. One of the backing singers is her brother Nikolas Metaksas who composed the song. Nikolas is very famous in Greece after finishing 2nd from the X-Factor! All of the members of the Cypriot delegation on stage are dressed in white and Christina is wearing a white shoulderless gown which makes her look even more beautiful...The backround is in dark blue and mint green but suddenly colourful flowers are coming out during the chorus. There are some boxes on stage which at the end of the song are pushed together and Christina is standing on them.

08. Slovakia
Song : Let'mou
Artist : Kamil Mikulcik & Nela Pociskova
Slovakia returns to the contest with a great, atmospheric ballad, all in the native language of Slovakia! Nela is standing on the center of the stage at the beginning, dressed all in white, and she is joined by a piano player and a violincelo player. Kamil is entering the stage by the time he is starting to sing his own part of the song. Both Kamil and Nela are great at the vocal part. Screens show burning candles which suit perfectly on "Let'mou"'s style...

09. Denmark
Song : Believe again
Artist : Brinck Niels
Brinck is on stage with a 4-member-band : a drummer, two guitarists and a bass player. The stage is covered by blue and white colours and the screens show the title of the song "Believe again". Niels is not moving much on stage and seems a little bit nervous something which must change if he wants to go to the Final. Also they have to work hard on the vocal part. The song is one of the best songs for this year...

It's Monday May 4th 2009 and it's the day for the 2nd rehearsals in the row for the Eurovision Song Contest 2009!
Today, the rest 9 countries of the 1st Semi Final will rehearse. Yesterday the last country to rehearse was Turkey which is the number 09 to perform at the 1st Semi Final's night, so today the rehearsals begin with Israel which will perform 10th in the row at the night of the 12th May 2009...

10. Israel
Song : There must be another day
Artist : Noa & Mira Awad
Both singers are dressed in black gowns and are framed by three musicians. They both sing good. There were some tiny mistakes during the movements which made them laugh and not be anxious!! Everything can be fixed. The stage is very good looking as it's covered in blue but in the end it turns to red. The music seems to be a bit changed as well...

11. Bulgaria
Song : Illusion
Artist : Krassimir Avramov
Krassimir is on stage wearing black trousers, white shirt and a black tie. With him on stage there are three female dancers (Petya Buyuklieva, Ani Lozanova and Albena Veskova) who also are backing vocalists and a dancing-on-stilts couple. This is the second time in the history of the contest after the French entry back in 2004 that dancers are on stilts. The stage is full of clouds and storms which end to flames! They all sound good generally but it is really hard to pass to the final...

12. Iceland
Song : Is it true?
Artist : Jóhanna Guðrún Jónsdóttir
It's one of the greatest songs for this year and Jóhanna seems to be really cool on stage no matter she is not moving. Great voice without any single technical problem, Iceland should be proud for its rehearsal! On stage, the singer is joined by a cello player, a guitar player and three singers as backing vocalists. It is worth to mention that one of the backing singers is Fredrick who last year represented the country as a member of Euroband singing "This is my life"! The stage is magical as it is covered by clouds, falling stars and a full moon which give the impression of flying above the sky... Suddenly a dolphin is coming out from the clouds and also an old boat is sailing through the sky... The backround ends with a sun coming out meaning the night during the song is over.

12. F.Y.R.O.M
Song : Nesto sto ke ostane
Artist: Next Time
It's time for Formal Yougoslavic Republic of Macedonia to rehearse! NEXT TIME are on stage with their band which contains a drummer and three guitarists. As far as the vocal part they are good. The stage is covered by blue, green and red lights. The performance of the singers is just like the national final of the country. It's not too good not too bad. Hard to know if it's going to make it to the final or not...

14. Romania
Song : The Balkan Girls
Artist : Elena Gheorghe
6 people are on stage during the Romanian performance : the lead singer (Elena Gheorghe), a female singer as backing vocalists and 4 female dancers. Elena sings very good and she dances well at the same time but the stage seems so empty... like something is still missing. The backround show an empty tree which starts slowly to bloom...

15. Finland
Song : Lose control
Artist : Waldo's People
Due to the Eurovision rules which want 6 people the most on stage during the live performance of each country, the band "Waldo's People" changes a bit. So, on stage there are the main singers Karoliina Kallio and Waldo who are joined by two female backing vocalists and two male dancers who play with real flames just like in the circus! As fas as the vocal part, they were both by far better than the performance of the Finish National Final but they still need to rehearse more. The screens in the backround show a croweded city by night and many white lights are lighting around the stage!

16. Portugal
Song: Todas as ruas de amor
Artist: Flor-De-Lis
The band is on stage with the main singer (Daniela Varel) showing strongly her vocal abilities! There is no special choreography but this is not a problem as each member of the band has its own role in music. The stage is beautiful as it is decorated with a big raining bow at the beggining and some cute clouds and flowers are being shown by the screens making everyone feel like being in a huge field. Many people and fans hope that this nostalgic and beautiful song can make it to the final...

17. Malta
Song : What if we?
Artist : Chiara
Time for one of the biggest Eurovision stars to be on stage for her rehearsal. Time for Malta and Chiara, who, once more, is on her own on the stage. No reason to talk about the vocal part as she is really known for her incredible voice. The backround of the stage shows the bottom of an ocean and some archeological monuments. People talk about the worst entry of Chiara, always comparing to the other two (The one that I love - 1998 / Angel - 2005) but they really love her as she is really cute...

18. Bosnia-Herzegovina
Song : Bistra voda
Artist : Regina
It's the last country of the Semi Final 1 and the last to rehearse today. Regina are on stage giving a great performance on a very beautiful,balkan ballad. Red and white lights are decorating the stage. The band is accompanied by two female dancers who are actually drummers. The highlight of the performance is when all the members gather together flying red flags.

Today is the first day of the rehearsals for the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. All the particinapating countries on the 1st Semi Final will do their rehearsal today and "Krik! Music Corner" will keep you informed...
Generally the rehearsals are going well and there are no serious sound problems. Everything seem to be under control...
Fans admit that the Russians have done a great job and the stage is so fantastic that covers in a good way almost all the songs - and especially the boring ones!!

01. Montenegro
Song : Just get out of my mind
Artist : Andrea Demirovic
Andrea Demirovic is on stage with one dancer and three singers as backing vocalists who do not appear on stage though they stand behind of it. The dancer is trying to catch the Montenegrian singer who is escaping all the time! The stage is all blue and pink and Andrea is wearing a brown evening gown with all her back being visible! As the singer says there were some sound problems but she hopes that everything will fix until her second rehearsal...

02. Czech Republic
Song : Ave romale
Artist : Gipsy.cz
Gipsy.cz are having a great time on stage while performing their song "Ave romale" which is the county's 3rd entry so far. The lead singer of the band is dressed up as a new "Superman" and around him are the rest 5 members of the band... Two of them are playing violin, two others guitar and the last is playing drum kit. The stage is colourful with cartoons on the LED screens around the stage which give a great feeling to everyone off the stage...

03. Belgium
Song : Copycat
Artist : Patrick Ouchene
And this proves how hard Russians are working, as they turned the totally indifferent entry of Belgium to a nice entry!! Patrick Ouchene is on stage performing "Copycat" dressed up as Elvis Prisley, which is also his basic style (he is famous as the Elvis of Belgium!). Two women are his backing vocals and on stage there are also one guitar player and a violoncello player. The stage is full of red, silver and gold colours which give the feeling of being in Las Vegas, something which suits perfectlly on the song's style... At the end, the song's title (Copycat) appeared on the floor of the stage!!

04. Belarus
Song : Eyes that never lie
Artist : Petr Elfimov
Great entry from Belarus! Singer Petr Elfimov should be really satisfied as his rehearsal was with no problems in general. Sound checking was good as his stage performance was too! On stage with the singer there is his guitar player which wears a t-shirt with the name of the singer on it and also a female dancer who is covered by a white piece of fabric which seems to trap her inside! The dancer, during the song, is trying to escape, something which she finally does at the end of the song! Petr is wearing a black t-shirt and a black leathered pair of pants! The stage is full of green and white flames... Fans say that it may pass to the final... but still is to soon to know for sure...

05. Sweden
Song : La voix
Artist : Malena Ernman
Malena Ernman is on stage wearing a white evening gown and around her 5 female singers, all dressed in black. The backround on stage is green at the beginning, it is turning to white during the refrain of the song and it ends in blue! Dancers are using the same masks which were used in the live performance of "La voix" back in Sweden's Melodifestivalen... The masks are placed in some special seats which seem like pieces of ice on stage... As far as the vocal part, Malena and her backing singers are totally great...

06. Armenia
Song : Nor bar
Artist : Inga & Anush Arshakian
It's time for Armenia to rehearsal. Inga & Anush are on stage with 4 female dancers who are all together standing in a blue platform. After the first refrain the two sisters are standing alone on the platform but they do not dance that much, thought they sing in a perfect way! During the end of the song, the dancers are wearing special gloves which project greek laser lights! The backround is colourful with many shapes... People say that they may be changes at the next rehearsal...

07. Andorra
Song : La teva decisi
Artist : Susanne Georgi
Not bad performance at all for Andorra. The singer is ok as far as the vocal part but the stage performance is so poor just like the song. On stage there are four female dancers who are also backing vocals. The stage's colour is basicly blue and red...Both singer and dancers are holding guitars on which there is lighted "07" which is the number of the performance for Andorra (7th in the row)... Nice trick to remind the views what to vote!!! The choreography is very poor and needs hard work if the country wants really to pass to the Final!!!

08. Switzerland
Song : The highest heights
Artist : The Lovebugs
Very powerful performance by the band Lovebugs who are representing Switzerland. The band's members seem to be really cool on stage as they also invited the people off stage to clap the hands during the song...something which shows how they enjoyed the performance without being anxious for the result! The LED screens in the backround of the stage show skyscrapers during night and day, the snow which caps the Swiss Alps and end to the space... People believe Switzerland is able to pass to the final...

09. Turkey
Song : Dum tek tek
Artist : Hadise
Similar to many Turkish live performances, Hadise is trying to sing and dance well at the same time but as it seems she is not that good! Sound and vocal problems are obvious though her backing vocalists are doing a great job. The backround is full of red hearts, discoballs and buterflies and Hadise is on stage with five dancers who are also backing singers. All the team is wearing simple clothes not showing what they gonna wear during the Semi Final's night...At the beginning and at the end of the song there are fireworks on the stage...

Third proposal's time as it's Friday May 1st!

It was 11 April 2009 when Susan Boyle appeared on the stage of the talent show "Britain's Got Talent" (3rd series) to make her dream come true : to sing in front of a big audience. She managed to surprise both judges and audience after singing "I dreamed a dream" from "les Miserables" in the competinion's first round elicting the "biggest yes in three season" from all three judges!

Piers Morgan : Without a doubt that was the biggest surprise I have had in three years on the show. After Dima Bilan's victory at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest, every single person was sure that Russia is going to organize a perfect Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow!

Apart from big singers like Sakis Rouvas, Arash, Patricia Kaas e.t.c. who are taking part in this year's concert, Russian broadcaster has two more surprised :

a) A magnificent stage which is going to host the 43 participating songs
and
b) a very beautiful female host : Milla Jovovich!

The stage was designed by American designer John Casey. This is not the first time Casey is being involved with the European contest! Back in 1997 he also designed the stage and he shared some ideas with other designers on the stages of 1994 and 1995! Something new is that many video walls are used around the scene for this year.

As far as the female host, Milla Jovovich, is one of the most famous supermodels, actresses, musicians and fashion designers worldwide. She was born as Milica Nataša Jovović on December 17 1975 in Kiev, Ukraine. Milla has Russian - Serbian and Montenegrin origins. At her 5 years, Milla moved with her family to London and then to the USA. Her professional career as a model started when she was just 11 years old! She has also appeared in famous television series like "Married with children". After being a very famous and successful model, Jovovich led to new contracts and covers of "Vogue" and "Cosmopolitan". Some parents thought the title "If U Seek Amy" by Britney Spears sounds like "F-U-C-K Me" when said aloud and sung.

In a Rolling Stone magazine interview, parents were quoted as saying, "I was astonished and totally taken aback when I heard my 5 and 7 year old kids walking around the house singing 'F-U-C-K' ... When I asked them what it was, they told me it was Britney Spears. I was horrified". Rolling Stone defended Spears, arguing that parents should have been aware of the singer's musical themes.

The Parents Television Council cautioned radio stations and cable music channels about broadcasting the music video for this song for the same reason.

Due to this reaction to the music, in the US, a radio edit has been released as "If U See Amy". This edit takes out the 'k' in 'seek' and speeds up the chorus, therefore running thirteen seconds shorter than the original version. The "If U See Amy" version will only be released to US radio, with the music video and the international radio single being both "If U Seek Amy".

Sakis Rouvas in Serbia!

After being in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Greek super star Sakis Rouvas travelled to Belgrade, Serbia in order to make a show on Pink Tv. After show, Sakis met an old friend : Serbian famous musician and singer Zeljko Joksimovic. Zeljko and Sakis took part in Eurovision 2004 so they had many memories to remember! Sakis also admited that "Lane moje" (Zeljko's song on 2004) should have won the contest! A couple of minutes later, Sakis and Zeljko met Jovana Jankovic, who along side Zeljko, was the presenter of Eurovision 2008 in Serbia!

Sakis did not stop giving interviews to all the Serbian press and he received lots of love from the Serbians. "La noche es para mi" in Greek....!

"La noche es para mi" is the entry of Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 performed by the top Spanish pop singer Soraya Arnelas!

The song was composed a year ago by Dimitris Stassos and had originaly greek lyrics by Nektarios Tirakis. The title was "Afta pou kseris" (=All that you know). The duo had on its mind singer Helena Paparizou as the main singer of the song, though the No1 singer refused it as one of the tracks of her last album because the genre of the certain album was rock/pop and not that much latin/pop (as was the style of "Afta pou ksereis").

Apart from Helena Paparizou, composer Dimitris Stassos had on mind singers Chrispa and Maro Litra :

The song was offered to Greek singer Chrispa as her entry at the Greek National Final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. Chrispa prefered to perform the song "A chance to love" during the National Final which finally placed last on the scoreboard!!

Time for Maro Litra (a Canadian born Greek famous singer) to perform it arrived but the producer of the singer also refused it for unknown reasons! (Probably the singer did not listen to it at all!!!)

Finally, Soraya Arnelas from Spain accepted to sing it as an entry for the Spanish National Final for the Eurovision 2009. Spanish people loved it and made it win the Spanish National Final so "La noche es para mi" (Spanish final title of the song!) will be the entry of Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest.

It's worth to mention that the song is also one of the bookmarks' favorite for this year's Eurovision Song Contest!

Arash's song for the Eurovision 2009!

As you already know, super star from Iran Arash composed the song "Always" which will represent Azerbaijan at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Russia. The rumor which stopped to be a rumor is that Arash will be on stage with Azeri singer AySel performing the song as a duet!

"Always" is a mid tempo song with good arabic rhythm which comes from the Azerbaijan and Iran's music culture... Fans describes it as a typical Arash-song!!

Arash is really famous worldwide for his hits "Boro-Boro", "Arash", "Temptation" and many others. The singer you may not know is AySel. AySel was born on April 25 1989 in Baku (Azerbaijan) and he full name is Aysel Teymurzadeh. The represantation of her native country at the Eurovision Song Contest is her first step in music as she has not released any song on her own so far.
