She is an American country pop singer and song writer mostly famous for her "Can't fight the moonlight" song which was also set as the "Coyote Ugly" official soundtrack. She has won an American Music Award, two Grammy Awards, three Academy of Country Music Awards and twelve (!!!) Billboard Music Awards. She is also the youngest person to win a Grammy and the first country artist to win the Grammy for "Best New Artist". She has also the longest charting song for the "How Do I Live" which was on the U.S. Hot 100 for 69 weeks!!!
