"This is our night" for Greece at the Eurovision '09
Today, 18 February 2009, and just a couple of hours ago finished the Greek National Final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2009...
The show was hosted by the Maggira sisters who did a great presentation of all the winners of the contest since 1956 until 2008!! Choreographies, costumes, videos..everything was great. All Greeks enjoyed a wonderful national final which it may be the best national final ever around whole Europe.
The "lead role actor" of the night was of course Sakis Rouvas who is the representer of Greece for the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. Sakis performed on stage all the three nominee songs : "Out of control", "Right on time" and "This is our night" driving all the fans inside "Athinon Arena" crazy!
The final result has been chosen as 60% via televoting and 40% via the special for the night jury. The winning song was the dance track "This is our night" which was the favorite of all since the very first day of the songs' presentation.
During the show, the representers of Cyprus, Uk, Malta, Turkey, Belarus and Montenegro performed on stage their Eurovision 2009 entries making the show even more interesting.
