Alsou and Andrey Malahov to host the Semi Finals of the Eurovision 2009
It's the first time of the history of the Eurovision Song Contest that the hosts of the Semi Finals will be different from the ones of the Grand Final! Russian Channel 1 announced that the presenters of the two Semi Finals will be Andrey Malahov and Alsou. Andrey is famous Russian tv presenter, who also hosted the Russian National Final for this year's Eurovision and Alsou is one of the most famous Russian pop singers. Alsou has also represented Russia at Eurovision 2000 with her song "Solo" finishing 2nd!
